Vintage Ornate Brass-Toned Metal Picture Frame

This vintage picture frame is a real beauty, made from a brass-toned metal with ornate frame and back stand.  New glass and back board have been added.  These types of frames became popular in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, and it is suggested that this particular frame dates from the mid-20th century.

Inside the frame I have put a piece of vintage French paper which can be used just as decoration, or as a surround to a photo which is placed on top.
