Its very unusual to find so many kitchen storage jars in one set.  These vintage French kitchen storage jars consist of 4 containers:

The (tea)
Chicoree (chicory)
Riz (rice)
Vermicelle (vermicelli)

4 spice jars:

Poivre (pepper)
Thym (thyme)
Epices (spices)
Vanille (vanilla)

They are made from china and have a decorative blue, green & yellow pattern on them with gold coloured edging.

Please note that the main picture also shows an oil jug but unfortunately this got broken.
