The Old Farmhouse - Bedroom

This is a beautiful bedroom with a double aspect looking over the courtyard and front garden.  Although the room has large windows I wanted to make this room as sunny and luxurious as possible. 

To achieve this we had a cream (faux) silk carpet laid, grey faux silk curtains made, which have been triple interlined to add warmth and luxury.  There are bespoke built-in wardrobes and drawers running along one wall which are fabulous.  

The accent wall is papered in a Harlequin design and the rest of the walls are painted in Farrow & Ball's Elephant Breath.  The window seat and chairs have been upholstered in gold and purple to add extra interest.
