This room has no windows and an odd configuration with a loading wall 2/3 of the way into the room. This gave us the opportunity to create a 'built in' wardrobe at the back of the room and to place the beds opposite each other (which makes it easier for the children to chat).
Because of its location by the sea, and the fact that it is designed as a kids bedroom, I wanted to introduce some fun into the room. It has an underwater theme with large gold fish on an accent wall, which is repeated framed on one of the plain walls. I have used dark colours to make it cosier and more conducive to sleep. There are nautical mirrors behind each bed and a fish tail hook on the back of the door. The furniture has an industrial look.
