Antique M.Roden Limoges Porcelain Soupiere

Very pretty blue, white and gold coloured antique porcelain serving tureen (soupiere) made by M.Roden in Limoges.  Martial Redon established his prominent porcelain decorating and manufacturing business in Limoges in 1853.  Pieces bearing the M. Redon mark are prized by collectors for their delicate executiion, high-grade porcelain bodies and classic French styling.  The soupiere is dated circa 1890 - 1910. 

This tureen would make a fabulous bowl for fruit, vegetables or even Christmas decorations!
