Antique French Red Transferware Ironstone Jug by Moulin des Loups

Very pretty (and typically French) antique jug decorated in red transferware made by Moulin des Loups (see picture of the base of the jug). 

The 'Jardiniere' pattern on the exterior of the jug exemplifies the botatical motifs that dominated European decorative arts during the Victorian era. 

Today these types of jugs are highly sought after by collectors of antique French country decor and transferware ceramics.  It dates back to circa 1890's.

This jug would look stunning in any country kitchen or dinning room.
