There are a series of 4 of these antique French original  Herbiere botanical specimen's which have been framed in Nkuku Kiko brass frames which hang from a brass chain.

This herbiere is Carlina Chamaeleon, dated 18/07/1907.  The text is in French and Latin and translates as:
