This is a beautiful (and very old) antique wooden cupboard, believed to be French in origin. It has two decorative doors, a shelf inside and a latch (but there is no corresponding latch on the door). It is closed using a lock and key. It stands on tall legs and has a decorative wavy edge at the bottom of the piece around the front and sides
Due to the age of the piece, there is quite a bit of woodworm damage at the back, but this has been treated and doesn't detract from the beauty or functionality of the piece.
