A very pretty antique Austro-Bohemian blue & white floral enamelware coffee pot with a hinged lid. This coffee pot has a blue and white stripped section with floral detail on the front and gold coloured detail on the rim and the spout. Around the wooden handle are painted blue petals.
On the bottom is a red heraldic mark 'Austro' and 'Bohemian' which indicates that this was produced on the border regions between /austria and the Czech Republic. The heraldic crest often indicates royal patronage or a specific regional manufacturer (which I would suggest is the more likely of the two in this case). It dates from around the late 19th century.... Due to its age there are signs of rust but this just adds to the vintage patina.
