A Rustic, Glazed Redware Pot With Mottled Brown and Amber Colouration

This pot is gorgeous with its mottled brown and amber colouration.  This glazed pot is made from reddish-brown clay (hence the name Redware), which becomes apparent when the piece is unglazed. It is suggested it originated in the late 19th or early 20th century in Europe or America.  Pieces like these are valued by collectors for their rustic charm and historical connection and can retail between £100 - £200.

Please note there is a small chip out of the pot on the side (see photo), but this just adds to its rustic charm.
