A beautiful 19th century giltwood pier mirror with classical pillars down either side and a decorative top section. The mirror itself is in good condition with very little foxing. The mirror came from the Grange Estate in Cheshire
Pier mirrors were designed to be placed between windows or in narrow spaces and became fashionable in the Georgian and Victorian era's. It is suggested that this mirror is of English or French origin.
